Glass on the lake the odd southwesterly gust with a slightly outgoing tide, nothing I noticed but that's what the tide chart suggested. Expand/Collapse |

02-07-2020 - James Casey - SUP
Low Tide but some serious flow going on with a rushing out tide, had to dodge some rocks along the way. 10 knot wind from the NW which had little effect, the tide was the major influence. Not the best repesentation of a 500m sprint as I think the tide was too fast but it is the fastest 500m effort I had today. On my Sunova Flatwater Faast 14 x 21.5, VMG Time Trial and VMG 82 Orca Paddle Expand/Collapse |

An up and back 1km TT to finish the session. Blowy westerly and some tiny southerly swells. Tried the wide loop turn but I think a pivot turn would've been faster. Nothing special but I've set a time now. Expand/Collapse |

17-01-2021 - James Casey - SUP
Akuna Bay, fast on the way down, very slight headwind breeze on the first 1.5km of return, eased towards the end. Had three boats pass me one same direction the other two opposite direction, probably evened itself out. That 4th km really let me down but still quickest I'v done in a while, might've left another 10 seconds out there... Expand/Collapse |

20-12-2020 - James Casey - SUP
Light SE wind so was a bit quicker on the way down then on the return. Did the top half of the lake which meant had to go under the bridge each way but still think it's quicker than the traditional sup5.0 course. Quickest time I've ever done on the lake! Used the Sunova Flatwater faast 14x21.5 VMG TT fin and Orca Paddle Expand/Collapse |

Seemed to be zero current, similar times both ways. No wind but a few boats which seemed to be going the wrong way creating a little bit of wash against me. All in all nice conditions. Expand/Collapse |

During the JPP Saturday afternoon SUP 5.0 in November. There was a little bit of wind out of the SE meaning it was quicker on the way down then the way back. On Sunova Flatwater Prototype 14 x 22 with VMG Mako 28 and VMG Orca Paddle Expand/Collapse |

Akuna Bay with a gusty northerly wind so the first 5km was a little bit slower when the wind picked up. Had 3 boats pass me on the opposite direction on the way up, the way back was definitely much quicker with the wind. Didn't notice much tide Expand/Collapse |

Zone 3 Paddle, Sth Narra to Newport Reef and Return. 5-15 knot west-southwesterly making the return leg a little bit slower but all in all about as flat and calm as the ocean gets. Nabbed a wave at Bungan and NN point figured it was ok as I paddled into a head/side wind for a while 😂 Expand/Collapse |

Fastest I've ever completed a DWer. Conditions were good with a nice NE wind, but the main difference was using new RS1150 from Go foil. Total distance of 11.1km done in 26:16 but the 10km done in 23:29. Some fast splits in there Expand/Collapse |
