Light SE wind so was a bit quicker on the way down then on the return. Did the top half of the lake which meant had to go under the bridge each way but still think it’s quicker than the traditional sup5.0 course. Quickest time I’ve ever done on the lake!

I’ve put on a few pounds over Christmas so I was surprised to have a PB. Trialed the edge 2 which tracks and glides really nicely. Bit of current moving down Coomera river but happy with result – Happy New Year!!

Windy ESE, but a good first lap back on the Javelin 14’ x 22”. A bit wobbly on the two side wind legs, but held decent pace. The 8-10kn head wind killed my 5th km.

It was a beautiful morning, glassy and not a breath of wind, then right on cue! In comes the WNW – WSWerly! That was hard work but still a good 5km.
Seemed like the wind was WNW uip the first leg, then WSW moving more south along the second. And the mid turn, I swear it went NW again, but finally some ok tail wind down the last leg.
Paddled the Naish Javelin 14′ x 24″.
